HOW TO DO AT HOME SPA FACIAL

If you know me i am very much against home DIYs and extractions but since most of are stuck at home right now so i am going give u a few TIPS on how can do At Home Facial and also do safely pop a pimple or a blackhead with a very few products and steps so your skin can look clear and fabulous at home.

STEP 1.

At Home Dermaplane.

Start with a disposable facial razor, my favourite one is from Amazon or the dollar store. It’s is affordable and easy to get your hands on. Most facial razors available in the market are safe to use on the skin. It can be used on dry skin to remove peach fuzz, dead skin, exfoliate the skin and can instantly brighten up your complexion and make it smooth. Not suitable for skin with active breakouts as it can damage the skin.

STEP 2.

Cleansing

Cleansing is a crucial part of any treatment . It is important to have clean skin before any facial. For this step you can use any facial cleanser that you have(PH balanced) preferably. Slowly cleanse for 60 seconds and rinse off.

STEP 3.

Exfoliate.

Exfoliation is important to get rid of dead skin cells to achieve healthy glowing skin. You can use a scrub(physical exfoliater), AHA/BHA (Chemical Exfoliation) or Enzyme exfoliation.

STEP 4.

Extraction

This part is where you have to be a little cautious. if your skin irritated from the facial razor or the exfoliater then i recommend u skip this part. I recommend using Q tips to extract pimple is that READY to pop. I would stay away from extracting blackheads/ whiteheads that are really tiny. too much pressure with extracting can cause scarring and rupture of a blood vessel underneath the skin.

STEP 5. MASK

I prefer using hydrating sheet masks or any mask that you have at home to use during the facial. Choose your masks accordingly for example go for charcoal or salicylic mask for acne and hydrating mask for dry dehydrated skin types.

STEP 5.

Serum/Actives/Moisturizers

After extraction follow up with your hydration serums and moisturizers.

Always use water based serums before moisturizer and wait 30 seconds in between for the products to penetrate.

STEP 6.

Facial Massage

And for my favourite part all you need in a facial oil that doesn’t clog your pores. Watch my video on how to massage your skin at home. You can also use facial massage tool for this part. Facial massages should be a daily part of your skincare routine to help with lymphatic drainage and facial muscle tension.

TADAAA...

and that’s how easy it is to feel and look your best at home.
